Small or big help in one form or another, sooner or later, there is another person somewhere out there who can provide a helping hand, or assistance may appear. Let me illustrate my point. And you will see what is in my mind.
Do you need help in any of the following situations:-
• Someone who stays near your home to help feed your aquarium fish for a few days, while you are out of town?
• Need some one to water your indoor plants when you are out station for a week ?
• Some one to look after your six-years old child for 2 hours while you need to go do some heavy shopping ?
• Looking for a family to carpool from your residence to your office in Jalan Ampang 5 days a week?
• Your children’s cupboard full of books need another family to exchange books of same age group?
• Have extra food to give away for free instead of throwing it away?
• Need a hand to change a light bulb in the bath-room, you need to borrow a ladder for 20 minutes?
• An old family friends with four children are coming for dinner, you need extra plates, cups, forks and spoons and three more chairs together with a small table, where to borrow these items from the nearest family in the same street?
• You want to learn how to cook Assam Laksa, someone nearby to teach you how to do it well?
• You want to give away some indoor plants, and you want a green finger to care for the plants so that the plant will have a new owner who knows how to up keep them well?
These possible areas of help mentioned above, are by no mean exhaustive, but sometimes you wish there were someone out there who can provide the assistance you need.
Further more, life sometimes poses other more philosophical challenges that tax our mental capacity to the limit.
For example, your child may ask a serious and pertinent question like:-
• What is the purpose of life?
• Is there a cure for boredom?
• Why is the sun set and sun rise more colorful than a noon sun?
• Why Malaysia has no four seasons unlike USA or Australia?
Or even more complicated, complex questions that need very good answer on health and sickness.
• What is the best water to drink? Who can you trust, when every seller who has a vested interest claim their water is the best.? What is the truth about water? Alkaline water? Reverse osmosis water? Filtered water? Phi water? Oxygen water?
• Your mother is suffering from both diabetes and high-blood pressure, what medication to give that has no side effects?
• How do you lose weight without counting calories? You have tried Atkins diet, slimming diet, food combination chart eating, and exercise without any success, what do you do next?
Life is challenging, exciting to live for many of us, yet to some other life is burdensome to live and full of problems and crisis one after another. What can you do to up lift some one in such a situation?
I may not have all the right answer, but out there, there are many who possess the solution and want to help. This blog will provide the forum or platform to match the needy with the giver of solution.
